Born and raised in San Diego, I started managing an optometry office right after high school. I fiddled with community college while working full-time and finally was able to transfer to the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) many years later. Optometry has always been my passion ever since I started wearing glasses at the tender age of eight. ICO became my ultimate choice of optometry schools due to its renowned clinical education, its large class size, and its impressive pass rates for boards.
