Erik earned his bachelor’s degree from Augustana College in 2008 with a double major in psychology and biology. He graduated from ICO in 2012, completed his residency at ICO in Primary Care and Ocular Disease in July 2013, and has since joined the faculty as an Instructor of Optometry. He is a clinical attending of second, third and fourth year students in the Primary Care and Pediatrics/Binocular Vision services of the Illinois Eye Institute, and also works part-time in a suburban private practice. He lives in Wicker Park with his girlfriend, Holly, and their cat, Luna.
