I was born and raised in Toronto, so I didn’t know how it felt to live in any other city… until now.  As much as I love Toronto’s culture and the Raptors, I figured it was time to get out of my comfort zone and see what Chicago has to offer. I’m looking forward to attending school at ICO, meeting new friends, and exploring the beautiful city.

My desire to pursue optometry stemmed from my interest in the human eye. Our eyes are the reason why we are able to visualize and experience the beauty of life. As a future optometrist, I hope to use my knowledge and responsibility to aid people’s vision so that they can experience life to the fullest extent.

Cheers to these next four years at ICO! I hope my blog posts can give you all an insight to encourage learning and growth for yourselves so that your time as ICO is a breeze just like The Windy City!
